Our Privacy Commitment: Spouse Connect International complies with the provisions of Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act. Your confidential identity, government ID documents, and private consultation notes are accessible only by authorized screening officers and are never sold or published.

1. Data Controller

Spouse Connect International, operating from Kawuku, Entebbe International Airport Road, Wakiso, Uganda. Inquiries regarding data access, corrections, or erasure requests can be directed to spouseconnectinternational@gmail.com or through our contact desk.

2. Categories of Information We Collect

  • Identity & Verification Data: Legal name, date of birth, copy of government-issued identification (National ID card or passport), and facial biometric verification photo.
  • Matching & Dossier Information: Preferred first name, general location (city/country), languages spoken, career background, relationship intentions, partner preferences, and selected photographs.
  • Financial & Billing Records: Transaction reference IDs, payment currency, timestamp, and active duration. (Credit card numbers are processed via certified external gateways and never stored on our servers).
  • Security & Audit Logs: Cryptographic timestamps of officer access, profile reviews, and IP connection logs.

3. Purpose & Lawful Basis of Processing

We process your information solely to deliver customized introduction services, conduct identity and safety checks, verify legal majority (18+), maintain secure billing records, and safeguard our community against fraud or deception.

4. Who Can See Your Profile Information

Strict Anonymity: Other members cannot browse your dossier. When our algorithmic and manual curation matches you with another candidate, only a sanitized, anonymous profile card is presented (showing your preferred name, verified age, interests, languages, and photographs). Your full legal name, telephone number, and private documents are never disclosed unless both parties provide explicit mutual consent.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under applicable data privacy legislation, you have the right to request access to the information we hold about you, request rectification of inaccurate records, pause your active profile from matching, or submit a formal request for profile erasure directly through your dashboard.
